The Dürty Bunny

Alan and I are so excited to announce that we have a new addition to the family....

We haven't named her yet. But she's a 1984 Volkswagen Rabbit Diesel in immaculate condition. I will be out of a car very shortly so we thought a good old reliable diesel would be fun. Plus, Alan can have fun restoring his first MK1 (mark 1) VW. If you know anything about me, you would know how little I know about cars. What I just said was car talk, that is pretty impressive for me!

This rabbit goes a whopping 60 miles per hour happily on the free way and takes about 5 minutes to get up to even that speed. My favorite part? If someone tailgates me I can floor my gas pedal and shoot black smoke all in their face. One of the perks from being a diesel.

We have barely had her a week and already love driving her around so much! From what I hear, almost every body has owned a rabbit at some point in our lives. Well here is ours.
